Coming Up for Air

No posts lately since I've been writing like a madwoman, trying to have Dylan Fontaine finished by the end of the year. As usual things are going slower than I expected, but they are going well (wonderful hubby read my last 40 pages and laughed numerous times) so I'm content. The big news is that today I will be mailing off my portfolio. Yes, I am taking the plunge and applying for entrance into the MFA program for creative writing at Texas State University. If accepted I will begin in Fall 2007. Wow, it's been a long, long time since I've been a student, but I expect it will stretch me in many ways. Very excited. Back to work.
